As a presenter I help to tell stories through factual entertainment, connecting people with the latest in travel, science, nature and health. As an actor I also help to tell stories that explore world issues and ideas around humanity. Ultimately, the modes of entertainment I am involved with manifest as an exchange of ideas and act as an agent of change.
I have developed the passion for on-screen performance, encompassing acting and presenting, with a special interest in science communication. From my final years of high school I obtained leadership roles and the Biology Prize in my year of graduation. After undertaking work experience on the Great Barrier Reef as a tour guide and persuing my interest in biology, I completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with first class Honours at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). During my tertiary studies at UNSW I also worked as a casual academic tutor and biological research scientist in the Faculty of Medicine. Since graduating from UNSW in 2013 I have completed a number of short courses in TV presenting, acting and documentary production. Today my key area of work is as an on-screen professional taking on presenting and acting roles, with a skillset to facilitate the filming process from pre-production through to project completion.
